The candidate for this position has a cumulative 8-year track record in user-facing application development, RESTful service API development, microservice development, data modeling, and SQL.
This was proven by work done with a company’s financial operations group to develop an accounting system for tracking daily transactions and rolling balances. They transformed data into the expected data contracts for its system and created a .NET Web application middle tier to serve data to the end user.
They have served loyally and valuably in different companies, including City National Rochdale and Dexia Credit Local. They joined the company after serving Annaly Capital Management since 2019.
Asset Management Organizational Needs
The development group is a subset of the LA-based asset management company with decades of experience managing fixed-income assets. The company is responsible for building out the company’s proprietary software platform to empower end users to make the best and most timely decisions and actions in the investment lifecycle.
Organizationally, the company was looking for a candidate with diverse experience across the entire technology stack who is excited to solve technically challenging problems. The candidate they were looking for would help design, build, and improve the platform, which is critical to the day-to-day operations of the front office.
