Candidate Background and Placement
The selected candidate has a 7-year track record in network engineering and analysis across diverse industries, including solar, health, pension, and fashion. They have expertise in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure and utilize Cisco, HP, Aruba, SonicWall, and Juniper, amongst others.
The candidate has experience in leading critical projects and working with systems engineers on the configuration and maintenance of the VMware environment–over 500 servers and 14 ESXi hosts. They were also responsible for international networks, data centers, and retail locations for two brands, utilizing Cisco, Nexus, and Catalyst switches. Additionally, they are proficient in Cisco ISR, ASA, and FortiGate edge devices.
They have served in critical roles with dynamic companies, including Motion Picture Industries Pension & Health Plan and Solar Reserve. They joined the company after serving Bella + Canvas in 2021.

The LA-based investment bank is an American multinational independent investment bank and financial services company. It is a leading global investment bank with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, financial restructuring, and valuation.
Organizationally, the investment bank was in search of a qualified candidate to support the Cloud infrastructure for the HL global enterprise and provide support to IT staff and end-users with regard to cloud-based issues.
Skills sought out by the organization included: good working knowledge of Cisco, Meraki & Palo Alto networking equipment, such as Cisco IOS, NX-OS, and Palo Alto Panorama software platforms.
