Candidate Background and Placement
The candidate for this position has over 10 years of working experience in the field of information technology with emphasis on DevOps, build and release, CI and CD, test architecture, and QA using both automated and manual techniques. They also have 5 years of experience implementing DevOps processes with continuous integration and delivery to QA, UAT, Support, and PROD environments.
Their wealth of experience was established by setting up branching strategies for TFVC and Git (Gitflow) in Azure DevOps 2019 and Azure DevOps services (ADO) in one of the largest banks in the United States. They also set up continuous integration and delivery for .Net, Java, Angular, and SQL-based applications.
They have served as top talents across several thriving companies, such as Sage Payroll Services and DLL. They joined the company shortly after serving in City National Bank in 2019.
Lending Company Organizational Needs
The Calabasas-based lending company specializes in financing non-owner-occupied residential investment properties. They also provide mortgage brokers and real estate investors with a fast, cost-effective funding source for their real estate investment needs.
Organizationally, the company is primarily focused on building scalable, repeatable pipelines to move proprietary code into production and is in search of a candidate who will be responsible for the IT general controls of implementing software to production systems– by utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) as the primary tool for moving code.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining company change management procedures; designing and developing strategies to minimize software errors implemented during deployment.
The key skills to fill out the role by this law firm were: intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, experience with VPNs, hardware troubleshooting, and setting up computers and associated peripherals.
