The candidate fit for this position is a skilled Software Engineer with over 10 years of experience. They have developed web interfaces, financial instruments on a risk/ valuation engine, and the reporting system for a financial service solutions company.
Their expertise was further evidenced by logged cash flow amounts over time in the application, which simultaneously allowed users to validate and reject cash flow applications. They also implemented a data import system, the tree data structure for processing new insurance forms, and upgraded the client-facing web portal.
They have served in core roles across national and global companies, including Liberty Financial Solutions and Abacus Insurance. They joined the company after serving Wilshire since 2021.

The Santa Monica-based investment company is a 13-year-old multi-billion dollar investment manager specializing in credit strategies. The firm manages over $ 17 billion in assets, specializing in sectors such as highly yielded bonds, leveraged loans, private and liquid credit, direct lending, and structured credit. Organizationally, the company was looking for a candidate who would be remotely responsible for developing software and building tools to automate and facilitate business processes. They will also play a significant role in providing production support for related systems and operations in a timely and professional manner.
Skills sought out by the global investment firm for the role: technical and analytical skills, experience and knowledge using SQL Server, C#, Javascript, and proficiency in MS Office products specifically Excel and Outlook.
